Do you know those lovely vendors I replaced just last night? The ones I had so lovingly placed as replacement for tearing them down to transfer the house?
I spent this morning tearing them down again LOL.
I'm a rather sentimental person. This house could've been replaced with a castle or keep a long time ago for more storage space, but as my first house on the server I've been holding on to a bit of nostalgia - and prime real estate!
On a whim, I decided to empty out the house so I could resize it. With my neighbor's absence, I had a lot of room to expand.
So I set to moving the house's contents elsewhere in preparation. Now my main castle is near its storage limit and my plant emporium has a bunch of chests on the porch. Sigh.
This was the hardest part. I grew impatient with grabbing all of the vines and pavers and decided to simply drop the house and grab everything from the ground.
Then I had to figure out what size fit in the now open space.
I ended up upgrading from a 14x17 to an 18x17.
I worked out a basic design on my test server before hopping back into the game, where my daily chores awaited.
I'm a regular to this tavern, but not for the same reasons as these knights! :P
I also added some basic transportation to the new project keep. I'm wary of announcing what I intend for this to be before I'm able to fully commit to it. I may change my mind too, after a couple of realizations. It's nothing special or unique, but it takes a lot of work to set up. I'll probably stew on this while I decide.
To fill my time, I finalized the design, walked my partner through building it, then got to decorating.
While decorating, a new neighbor moved in! :)
Yes, I decorate in the dark. It helps me see how the lighting I put up looks! I put in some basic decorations before logging off for the night.
