I woke up to some more vines and decorations in my Emporium mailbox, so I spent my morning adding in the new goodies to my houses. The mushrooms work well with the sandy area of the Emporium, so I'm probably going to fiddle with those a bit more the next time I get into a super decorative mood.
I also had a request for some dark purple natural dyes, so I quickly made a few of those and threw them on the vendor for 50k. I figure the special mixed colors should be more expensive than base colors given the resources involved, but I don't quite think they're worth the same price as the white or black natural dyes, so 50k seemed a happy medium for me. I'm thinking I'll be able to keep a decent stock of white and black plants to fill special orders now that I'm in the swing of plant growing/cross pollinating.
Who knows, I may even be able to start making colored baskets! That'll be exciting! The possibilities are endless now that my plant growing empire has been established, buahahhahaah! :P
My inscription goods have continued to sell well. I'm consistently needing to restock regular runebooks and spell scrolls.
I did a bit of tidying up at the Luna Moongate house. *gasp* This house has looked like a disaster zone for as long as it's existed. I'm normally much better at keeping my houses looking tidy, but adventures keep calling my name and I just can't find the time to organize. My houses are usually fully decorated by now, too, now that I think of it. Oh well, what can you do?
I ran the Naturalist quest a couple of times. This is usually a pretty relaxing past time when I can't figure out anything else to do.
Relaxing, that is, until the phase spider teleports me to the spider nest. Sigh.
Once I'd had my fill of Naturalist runs, I decided to spend a bit of time resource gathering. First on my list was gathering some sand to ensure my crafter can keep making empty venom vials.
After that, I did some mining. It's been a while since I've mined, and I keep running through ingots to make various tools for my crafter.
I've found mining with a fire beetle and a blue (or in my case, purple) beetle to be the best scenario to minimize downtime while mining. When I first started on the server, I would spend hours carting unsmelted ores to my Luna Moongate house whenever I went on mining sessions.
Once I was finished mining, I ran around the various cotton fields of Britannia and harvested cotton. With my NPC discount, it's probably much more time and money efficient to simply buy cotton from vendors, but I enjoy this method of cotton farming nonetheless. It's free cotton, after all, and with scavenger running I can quickly pick up any cotton I pick.
Once I had my fill of resource farming, I did my daily escort quests. I've managed to get to four dots, so progress is being made.
More hiryu hunting was had. I've decided to pick up any high LRC gear I find so I can start stocking starter LRC suits. Hiryus drop a lot of magical gear, and I'm here nearly daily anyway, so gathering supplies for more vendor goodies is a no brainer.
My poor beetle was a victim of my slow response time to one particularly nasty hiryu. This poor beetle has died so many times due to my ineptitude.
I sold some seeds of renewal today. I'm still uncertain about the prices I have. I can probably go lower, but I want to make sure I can keep a healthy stock of these seeds maintained. I've noticed with the instant seed gathering that the amount of seeds of renewal I get per round of plants is lower. Depending on RNG, I get between 30-50% less per batch.
I noticed my Justice virtue had decayed to follower, so I took five minutes to kill some murderers.
Once murdering some murderers was complete, I went back to hiryu hunting.
I earned enough fame to warrant Sacrificing, so I found a succubus and sacrificed my fame before hopping off for the night.
