I took a little bit of a break from mass BOD-filling over the past two days. As much as I was joking about my love for BOD-filling, I genuinely needed a break and figured a two day hiatus would give me enough time to recuperate and still be able to finish the Artisan tree if it needed more work when I came back.
Unfortunately, there was no noticeable progress on the tree when I logged on this morning. So I grabbed my bard and crafter and got to work.

Buying hides is a heavy endeavor.
I was in desperate need of leather, so I resorted to buying the hides off NPCs and cutting them into leather myself. I managed to save some gold this way, but in hindsight I think just killing stuff and skinning them would have been faster, plus given me loot and gold. If you're thinking about doing this next year, don't make the same mistake I did.
Vesper Artisan Festival at max level.
Five hours before the tree finished growing, I managed to get it to level five. I turned in some small BODs on my other characters and got back to work.

Waiting for the cooldown timer on escort quests can be a pain.
The first thing on my to-do list was some maintenance work on my compassion and justice. Unfortunately, my sacrifice virtue has fallen quite far and I may drop out of Follower status before I get back to working on it. Sigh. All because of my love of BOD filling.

Quadruple thread spinning action.
I made a temporary manufacturing line of spinning wheels to maximize my downtime-to-spools received. If that makes any sense. Usually the two spinning wheels at the Britain tailors are more than enough when I just need to process a little cotton. Since I was processing several hundred at a time, spinning four sets of threads just seemed faster. This setup won't stay in the final castle decorations, but I'm already planning out in my head how I can set this up again next year for more Artisan Festival crafting. Buahahahahaha!
