This morning was filled with a lot of complaints from one particular server member who seems to think they're entitled to 'owning' any place they are currently farming things. Don't get me wrong, in certain circumstances where there are limited spawns (for instance, the nightmare or hiryu spawns), it can be considered rude to swoop in and steal all the spawns when it's evident somebody is already there farming the mobs. For something like a champion spawn, however, when the server conduct rules explicitly state that nobody ever 'owns' a spawn or location, there's no sense in complaining. Especially when this particular instance had somebody recall to an area with mobs of a specific karma type they needed to kill. They recalled in, killed a few creatures, and then recalled away. The complaining player's incessant complaints in the general chat about people coming in and 'stealing' their powerscrolls were completely unfounded, and frankly, unnecessarily dramatic given the circumstances.
In any case, the server went through a restart and I took that opportunity to try and locate a few more daily rares.
While I was doing that, a few of the players reminded us that the Artisan festival had not only started, but the Britain tree was about to give out its gifts!
I took a moment to try to quickly grab and organize some of my BODS, but I quickly realized that my Luna Moongate house wasn't set up to facilitate quick BOD filling.
I ended up moving over to my main castle, where my resource boxes were, to mass fill a bunch of BODs so I could turn them in on my alts and get credit for a present.
The community managed to get the tree to level five (where all participating BOD-gifters get a gift, regardless of BOD value) shortly before the gifts were released, so all participating characters were able to claim a gift.
